West Coast Homeopathic Society

Community Building: Activities and Events

HOME

The homeopathic community in BC encompasses everyone who has an interest in homeopathy.  This includes practitioners and students; Friends of homeopathy; patients and home-users; and owners and employees of businesses providing homeopathic products and services.

Since its inception in 1995, West Coast Homeopathic Society.  has emphasized activities and events that help to bring the homeopathic community together.  Members and non-members have enjoyed social events, first at members' homes and more recently at the Arbutus Club in Vancouver.

WinterFest celebrations have been a popular event, usually held early in the holiday season.  These gatherings provide relaxing opportunities to re-connect with old friends, meet new ones, and share our hopes and dreams for homeopathy.  In the past few years, WinterFest has been held on the last Friday of November.  Look for the 2008 WinterFest on Friday November 28.

Many members have found that they make new contacts within the homeopathic community through volunteering to support WCHS activities.  For example, taking a shift to cover WCHS public awareness information booths can lead to interesting contacts among the volunteers, other exhibitors, and the public.

Our Annual conferences have also provided opportunities for members and non-members to meet and network, to become more familiar with a variety of homeopathic products and services, and to learn more about WCHS.

Community building occurs when two or more members of the homeopathic community get together in the spirit of homeopathy.  If you are interested in homeopathy, you are very welcome to join us!

Past Community Building events include:
     2005 Hahnemann 250th Anniversary
     2006 WinterFest
     2007 WinterFest
