FEATURED SPEAKER:

Ram Sarup Saini, RCSHom

Ram Saini is a registered member of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths and a member of the West Coast Homeopathic Society's Board of Directors since 2008.

Ram's introduction to homeopathy came when a serious back injury was successfully treated at the Homeopathic Hospital in Chandigarh, India.  Intrigued to learn more, he read Leaders in Homeopathy by Nash, followed by Hahnemann's Organon of Medicine, Boericke's Materia Medica, and Kent's Lectures.  Eventually he started attending national and international seminars by some of the leading homeopaths of our times: ML Sehgal,  Prafull Vijaykar, Rajan Sankaran, Jan Scholten, George Vithoulkas, and Divya Chhabra.

After completing his Master of Science (Engineering) in 1977, Ram started working for the government.  In 1980 he opened a charitable homeopathic clinic to provide medicines to the sick and the needy free of cost.  He practised actively at the free clinic until 2002 when he moved to Canada with his family and started running a homeopathic clinic in Surrey on a full-time basis.

Having studied the periodic system of elements as part of his Engineering studies, Ram was intrigued by Jan Scholten's concepts of homeopathic prescribing on the basis of elements of the Periodic Table.  He found that applying these concepts in his practice lead to encouraging results.  Later he studied Scholten's Lanthanides remedies, which lead to resolving many unsolved chronic and auto-immune cases.  Drawing on this experience, Ram will discuss The Lanthanides in Theory and Practice at the 2010 WCHS Conference.
